World Book Fair in Germany

The spirit of book-friendship should be kept alive in the society, the book fair was started in Zahid Hussain Consulate General Germany 75 years ago and this series continues successfully till date. The largest book fair, the city of industrial fairs, Frankfurt was also successfully held from October 18 to October 22, in which skilled people and business people from all over the world related to "book" printing, publishing, press missionary and other fields. Representatives of the companies participated, hundreds of stalls from countries around the world were decorated with books written on every subject and millions of book lovers benefited from them, in addition to America, European countries, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Turkey, Iran, Decorated stalls from Bangladesh, India and Afghanistan were the center of attention of the visitors, here people also received orders and businessmen also used the modern technology related to printing. Like many years ago, an 11-member delegation of All Pakistan Paper Merchants came with the help of the Lahore Chamber, and they made a detailed review of the book industry fair. 

Head of Chancellery Shafaat Kaleem Khattak and Commercial Counselor Amna Naeem were also present on this occasion. The delegation from Pakistan included Khamis Butt (President, All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association), Rana Naeem Ahmed (Moonlight International Publishers), Shafaat Hussain ( ssi International) Malik Rafiq, Fawad Ahmed (Hamdard Library) while discussing the problems faced by the book industry in the country admitted that our book industry is still lagging behind in the race of development due to various reasons. It is hoped that all these problems will be solved after peace and political stability in the country. Speaking to the delegation, Consulate General Zahid Hussain said that the spirit of book-friendship should be kept alive in the society. In industrial fairs, the representation of Pakistan in the book fair is less, but in the industrial fairs of sports, and other sectors, Pakistan is well represented, especially in the textile sector, the exhibition of Pakistan remains attractive to the whole world. 

A beautiful evening related to the education sector was organized by the beloved lady of Frankfurt, Komal Malik, in which only certain people could participate due to limited time. And she was accompanied by a companion from Italy, Zia Akhtar Abbas, while providing information to the participants about the free education services provided by their schools for the deserving children in Pakistan, said that the purpose of her coming to Germany is not to collect donations, it is an overseas Pakistani country. I fully cooperate with charity organizations, that's why they have come to introduce their organization and to introduce them to educated and knowledgeable people living in European countries and to strengthen contacts with them. Welcomes the students who want to, the organizer of the dinner, Komal Malik and her husband are always in the forefront of welfare activities, similarly, the introduction ceremony of the program of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, Dr. Tasneem Saeed and her colleagues. Organized together in which a large number of dignitaries from Pakistani community participated. Famous actress Yamuna Zaidi specially visited from Canada.
