Washington (TV Report) A service member of the US Air Force set himself on fire outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington to protest the genocide of Palestinians. At the time of his self-immolation, the American soldiers said, "Free Palestine and stop the genocide of Palestinians." He was also shouting slogans. Prior to this incident, the said soldier had also reportedly sent a message to media outlets in which he said, "Today I am planning to take extreme action to protest against the genocide of the Palestinians. Meanwhile, The US Department of Defense has warned that serving soldiers should stay away from partisan political activities. In a video that has gone viral on various TV channels and social media, it can be seen that 25-year-old American Aaron Bushnell, wearing his military uniform, sprinkles gasoline on himself and sets himself on fire. Due to the strong wind, flames spread from his body in the air, his body continued to burn for several minutes and finally he collapsed.
Even
though the fire extinguisher is exhausted, the fire cannot be completely
extinguished, after a few seconds when another fire extinguisher is brought, by
that time his body is 80% burnt. Bush Null was identified as a development
operations (dev op) engineer based in San Antonio, Texas. Washington's
Metropolitan Service reported on his account on X that at 12:58 p.m. an adult
male. was found in critical condition outside the Israeli embassy where US
Secret Service personnel extinguished the fire. A Secret Service representative
told Times Magazine that the Secret Service extinguished the fire as soon as it
was discovered.
