The memorable story of Jihad of Babur Azam who had to face many difficulties and obstacles to achieve success.
Adrienne C. Moore is
an American black actress. She was born in a poor family. She became
interested in acting from childhood. He then learned acting at a training
institute. Paid fees by doing menial jobs. During this time he had to
face a lot of suffering. Adrian's struggle continued and he did not give
up. Today she is a famous American actress. His catchphrase is:
"The reality is
that every human being has to face difficulties and problems in his life and
usually one does not know what kind of sufferings and problems the other person
is dealing with. It is also true that behind the smile of every successful
person, the eternal stories of struggle and hard work are hidden.
This statement also
fits Babar Azam, who is considered among the best batsmen in the world
today. Babar also had the dream of becoming a batsman in his heart since
childhood. Then he started struggling to make this dream a
reality. Many obstacles came in his way. Many times he felt that he
could go no further. But Babur did not lose heart and continued to
struggle. He worked with hard work, independence and determination. Today,
a long story of struggle is hidden behind his successful smile.
Babar's day and night
struggle paid off and he was able to become the world's leading
batsman. This is the beautiful reward of his hard work which Allah has
given him. It is a matter of praise that after getting fame, honor and
wealth, Babur did not come out of himself and even today he is a humble and
simple person. His life story reveals that behind a successful person
there are usually many incidents of struggle, hard work and struggle. Then
success kisses his feet. Mao Zedong, the architect of modern China, said,
"When a person sets out to seek and strive, then any feat is
possible."
Patience thanks our
friends

Babar Azam was born on
October 15, 1994 in Lahore. This family lived in the inner city. The
father, Azam Siddiqui, belonged to a distinguished Lahori family. He used
to teach in a government institution. The salary was very low. That's
why he opened a small watch repair shop. Thus the necessary household
expenses started to be met. But if there was any extra expenditure, then
we would have to face the problem. However, the family was living happily.
Azam Siddiqui's elder
brother, Muhammad Akmal Siddiqui was the administrator of a cricket
academy. He taught cricket to one of his sons, Kamran Akmal, under his
supervision and made him an excellent batsman and wicket-keeper. When
Babar was eight years old, Kamran Akmal was included in the Pakistan national
cricket team in 2002. Kamran's younger brother, Umar Akmal is also a good
batsman.
Father became a helper
Babar also became
interested in cricket from his childhood after watching his cousins
play. He started the game in the streets of the neighborhood. Azam
Siddiqui was not like the traditional father who usually imposes his will on
his children. He saw that Babar was interested in playing cricket, so he
started encouraging his son. Not only that, they became his companions and
helpers.
Good parents
Babar's luck that he
was also blessed with a compassionate and excellent mother. Mother used to
save some money from daily expenses. This money would then be used to meet
the needs of the children. From time to time, balls, balls, gloves etc.
were bought for Babur from the saved money. Thus, along with the father,
the gentle and kind mother also continued to help the son so that he could
fulfill all his dreams.
It is seen in our
society that if a son or daughter chooses a path contrary to the wishes of the
parents, they are discouraged in every possible way. Not only the parents
but all the family members curse him. Very few parents respect their
children's wishes and then become their helpers. The requirement of common
sense is that children's wishes should be given priority. Indeed, they are
inexperienced, but time eventually gives them experience. Then the child
makes life decisions at his own pleasure and is responsible for their being
good or bad as God wills.
Babar was thirteen
years old when he started training in a cricket club. The clubmen kept a
very low fee considering his financial status. Azam Siddiqui had a
battered CD Seventy motorcycle. He would take Babar to the club on
it. Not only that, they stopped there and waited for their son.
Sacrifice step by step
The clubmen sometimes
served lunch to the players. Azam Siddiqui, on the other hand, had enough
money to feed only one person, so when Babur did not get food, he would open it
and pretend that he had eaten. In this way, the father continued to make
sacrifices step by step to improve the future of his son. A father is the
only one who sacrifices his own happiness for the happiness of his children.
Ball Picker
In those days, in
September 2007, the South African team visited Pakistan. He was to play
one Test and one-day internationals in Lahore. Then Kamran Akmal had
become a part of the national cricket team. On his recommendation, Babur
was hired as a "help boy". So, during the matches of Pakistani
and South African teams, Babar performed various duties.
This experience proved
to be a pleasant one for the growing Babur. He got to know what the
atmosphere of the stadium is like during the game and in general
situations. How is cricket played at the highest level? How to know
the strengths and weaknesses of batsmen and bowlers by watching their
game. So the thirteen-year-old boy got a lot to learn even by being a
"helpful boy".
When Pakistani and
South African players would practice in the nets, Babar would watch them play
carefully. The South African team included his favorite batsman, AB de
Villiers. Babur used to observe his playing technique
carefully. Thus, he continued to struggle to know the mysteries of cricket
with his power of observation.
Once Babar caught the
South African for a six on the boundary. Seeing the skill and ease with
which he caught, a South African player, JP Duminy predicted that the boy would
one day become a great cricketer. Little did he know that this prophecy
would one day be fulfilled in a mighty way.
It is a strange
coincidence that the Test played in Lahore was the last match of the famous
Pakistani batsman, Inzamam-ul-Haq. He needed only 2 runs to break Javed
Miandad's record. By scoring three runs, he would have won the title of
highest scorer in Pakistani Tests. But Inzamam could not score only 2
runs. Babar was present in the dressing room when Inzamam got out and
returned. He says that Inzamaam was very sad and depressed. He was
sorry that he could not score just two runs.
Babar continued to
play cricket with great effort. With constant practice, his game began to
improve. He became a famous batsman who hit fours and sixes. Now the
famous cricket clubs of Lahore started struggling to include him in their
team. Thanks to his brilliant game, he also came into the eyes of those
associated with the Pakistan Cricket Board who were looking for an emerging
talent. Therefore, in 2007, he was also included in the under-15 trials
cricket competition organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
There are no shoes
Players could
participate in Trials cricket matches only by wearing the required sports
shoes. These shoes were very expensive. So Azam Siddiqui tried to get
one of his nephews (Kamran or Umar Akmal) to lend his cricket shoes to
Babar. It is said that both the nephews refused. Both said that they
did not have the required shoes.
"I realized later
that Abba should not have asked his nephews for shoes," Babar
recalls. We were disrespected by their refusal. Then I vowed that I
will not spread my hands in front of anyone, but I will get everything by my
hard work.
Babar also performed
well in trials cricket competitions. Due to his quality play, he caught
the eye of the selectors of the cricket teams of the government bodies who were
scouting for young batsmen. Now Babur needed a "cricket kit" to
play more advanced cricket. A cricket kit includes bat, glue, batting pad
and other essential equipment. But this cricket kit cost thousands of
rupees and it was a huge amount for Babar's family.
Mother sold jewelry
The income from the
father's shop would have been used to meet household expenses. However,
Babur's mother was an excellent administrator. She used to save some of
the expenses. Now the same money was used to buy a cricket kit for
Babar. But this amount was less, so mother sold some of her jewelry. Thus
a cricket kit was arranged for Babar.
It is a fact that
Allah Almighty has given a great blessing to children in the form of
parents. Parents not only struggle hard to keep their children away from
pain and suffering, but also strive hard to ensure that every child gets an
education and gets a high position in the society.
After getting a
cricket kit, Babar's game improved. He could easily play first-class
cricket now. Allah Almighty said. The prayers and sacrifices of his
parents paid off and in 2010 he was included in the team of the Agricultural
Development Bank. Thus, at the age of sixteen, Babur became the
breadwinner of his parents. He started getting decent salary from the
bank. Now he was able to afford his expenses.
Involvement in national cricket

First-class cricket
further refined Babar's game. He started playing shots with great skill
and beauty. He also came to play according to chance. When wickets
were to be secured, he played at a slower pace. And when the opportunity
came to bat fast, he would rain fours and sixes. In May 2015, Babar was
included in Pakistan's one-day cricket team due to his excellent performance in
first-class cricket.
When Babur heard this
news, his joy was no more. Years of hard work had finally paid
off. Parents and siblings were also very happy at home. Babar played
his first ODI against Zimbabwe. He scored 54 runs in just 60
balls. Thus, Babar scored a fifty in the first match.
Thanks to his
brilliant batting, Babar became a permanent member of the national one-day
cricket team. He had a mixed performance in the following matches. In
2016, West Indian cricket team visited Pakistan. He played three ODIs
against Pakistan. Babar set a new record by scoring three consecutive
centuries in three matches. Not only this, he scored a total of 360 runs
in all three matches. He thus became the highest run-scorer in the
three-match ODI series.
In October 2016, Babar
played his first Test match against West Indian Cricket. Babar scored 69
runs in that match. Thus, he was able to score a fifty in the first Test
which was a testament to his great abilities.
Gradually, Babar
became an indispensable part of Pakistani teams in all three forms of cricket
(Test, ODI and T20). Yesterday, the boy who used to lift the ball to the
players, was now showing the essence of his abilities to the world by becoming
the best batsman. He not only made himself and his family famous with his
excellent performance, but also became a source of pride for the country and
the nation. He waved the green crescent flag in international cricket.
Records of Babur Azam
Since 2015, Babar Azam
has created many records in world cricket due to his abilities. They are
mentioned below:
* He is the only
player in the world who has been among the top five players in Test, ODI and
T20 cricket.
In January 2017, Babar
became the fastest player to score 1000 runs in ODI cricket. He made this
score in twenty one matches. This record was later broken by Pakistani
player, Fakhar Zaman. He scored 1000 runs in 18 matches.
In April 2017, Babar
became the highest run-scorer in the opening 25 ODIs. He scored 1306
runs. Earlier this record was held by British player Jonathan Trott who
scored 1280 runs.
In August 2020, Babar
completed 1500 runs in only 39 matches in T20 cricket. Only Indian
batsman, Virat Kohli and Australian batsman, Arun Finch 39
* In the T20 World Cup
2021, Babar set a new record by scoring the most fifties (4) and the most runs
(303).
In March 2022, Babar
became the fastest player to score 4000 runs in ODI cricket. He scored
these runs in 82 innings. The world record is held by the famous Muslim
South African player, Hashim Amla. He scored 4000 runs in 81
innings. Thus, this record could not be equaled by only one innings
difference.
In April 2023, Babar
became the only captain to score three centuries in T20 cricket.
In September 2022,
Babar Azam scored three thousand runs in T20 cricket by playing 81

In May 2023, Babar
became the fastest player to score 5000 runs in the history of ODI
cricket. He made this world record in just 97 innings. He is followed
by Hashim Amla (102 innings), Australian player David Warner (115 innings) and
Kohli (119 innings).
In 2012, the
International Cricket Council awarded Babar Azam the title of "Best
Player" in ODI cricket. The following year, the Cricket Council
awarded him the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. Shaheen Afridi won this trophy
before Babar. In 2023, Babar was awarded the Star of Distinction by the
Government of Pakistan.
Babar is now earning
lakhs of rupees per month by working in cricket and advertisements. He is
considered among the best batsmen in the world. He can play cricket for
the next ten years and create more new records. But this new situation did
not make him arrogant. He is still conservative and simple
minded. This way of thinking and action makes a person popular in the
sight of Allah Almighty and gives him a distinguished and unique position from
other people.
