Meanwhile, in Dera Ismail Khan, the police van was going to Tehsil Kalachi from Ijaz Shaheed Police Line Dera with a contingent of elite force. According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Roori area of ​​Dera Ismail in which one terrorist was killed and 2 were injured. 

ISPR says that the dead terrorist has been identified as the banned TTP suicide bomber Osama who was planning a high-profile incident in the area.
