With the first anniversary of May 9, 2023, steeling the 365-day long
slog, PTI is gearing up for another decisive May 9. His accent was not familiar
even in the happy seasons of the "Spring of Power", but now sparks
are emanating from his fingers and his lips have become fountains of acid.
Observers are tracing the reasons for this aggression.
Two years ago, on 25 May 2022, Islamabad was invaded from Peshawar. Now,
PTI has named May 25 as "Black Day" while describing the police
action as fascist and cruel. At the same time, he said that "Before the
crisis gets more complicated and matters reach the point of no-turn, Imran Khan
should be released by abandoning oppression," the party's official press
release said. "May 9, under the guise of 'False Flag Operation', senior
leaders and more than 10,000 workers including women were jailed."
A few days ago, after meeting Imran Khan outside Adiala jail, standing
next to former President Arif Alvi, Umar Ayub said, "Imran Khan has
highlighted that May 9 was part of the London plan. Just as May 9, 2023 was a
deliberate conspiracy, March 11, 1971 was also a deliberate conspiracy. At that
time, General Yahya Khan met Sheikh Mujibur Rehman and it was decided on which
day the session of the National Assembly should be called. When Pindi came
back, the military operation was launched the next day. As a result, East
Pakistan was separated from us. "Prime Minister Imran Khan"
emphasized that the action of General Yahya Khan was not the action of the
armed forces or the institution, but the action of an individual. Similarly,
the matter of the London plan is not of the armed forces or the institution,
but of the individual.
After issuing several notices and a final warning in the last four
years, the CDA encroached on the PTI office, describing it as an act of
"occupation of Kashmir, Palestine and Gaza". In the same press
conference, the spokesperson of the party, Rauf Hasan, said, "Imran Khan
has told that these people have only one way to kill me (Imran Khan). Now the
matter seems to be going in the same direction." Another leader said.
"When the work went against the will of these people, they staged the
drama of May 9." A few days ago, a statement of Azam Swati came out. said
"On Thursday, when I met Khan Sahib for the first time in jail, he said
that what happened in Azad Kashmir is just a trailer. Get ready that the
revolution is coming. I am promising that that revolution will rise from Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa. Every home, every wife, every mother, every youth, every old man,
is fed up with these conditions. They will shed their last drop of blood for
their freedom, for their leader, prisoner number 804, for his majesty, for his
ideology, by the grace of God.” Ali Amin Gandapur, for the first time in the
history of Pakistan, before the national budget. "We have a lot of
resources now," he told the media after taking the "revolutionary
step" of presenting the provincial budget. We can increase our revenues by
utilizing these resources. If no one needs us, we don't need anyone
either." He has also threatened to occupy Islamabad and bring Imran Khan
out of jail. All central leaders are saying that they are waiting for just one
signal, one text message from Adiala Jail.
Arif Alvi says, "The pressure cooker is about to explode."
This anxiety, excitement and aggressiveness is not out of place. Imran Khan has
been in jail for almost nine months. Despite all the tactics, there is no
progress in the prison. There is no external grief, nor is there any internal
protest wave. The second major reason for the deep disappointment is that
despite the head banging in Kucha-e-Raqib, constant begging and knocking,
"Dar-i-Janaan" is not happening and now it has been told in no
uncertain terms that "There will be no talk of riots." Imran Khan has
already ruled out talks with Muslim League (N) and PPP. So, PTI now has no
choice but to continue sitting with its
"Tehreek-e-Tahafu-e-Iin-Pakistan". Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a shrewd
and cunning politician. He has not yet become a part of this meeting. It is
unlikely that he will throw his party into the furnace of PTI for May 9. So the
anxiety is increasing, there is complete confusion. Another major cause of the
May 9 provocation is the Al-Qadir Trust case, which is proceeding at a natural
pace according to the legal requirements. The evidence is as clear and
irrefutable as two plus two four.
Lawyers are also saying that the "writing on the wall" is not
encouraging. So, before the decision comes, it is necessary to bring a frown
first. Meanwhile, the recent by-elections have also thrown the wind out of the
narrative of Form 45 and 47. There was not even the slightest allegation of
rigging from any side. The PTI, which lost in its own province, has received a
clear message that now its voters are becoming helpless due to its incompetence
and ineptitude. A steady improvement in the economic situation, a reduction in
the rate of inflation, despite the PTI's strenuous effortsNo boycott of IMF,
optimistic attitude of foreign investors, stabilization of stock exchange, are
not good signs for PTI. Something has to be done before Pakistan becomes strong
and starts considering Khan Sahib as a legend.
If we consider the statement of Umar Ayub attributed to Khan Sahib, he
has compared the current situation of Pakistan with the Pakistan of 1971. Like
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman of that time, Khan Sahib has been described as the most
popular leader of today. The military operation of that time has been called
the parallel of the actions against PTI today. The adventures of that time,
instead of the army or institutions, have been described as the individual
decisions of a single person, General Yahya Khan. Mujeebur Rahman's
"Freedom War" has been likened to Imran Khan's "Real Freedom
War". It has been suggested that Pakistan, God willing, may be the target
of another downfall. While making this rich symbolic comparison, Khan Sahib and
Umar Ayub forgot to mention a symbol or consciously refrained from naming it.
If the situation is going towards 1971, then it should also be told who will
play the role of "Mukti Bahini"?
