The despicable Israeli plan: Ishraq. A. Hashmi

The international community has been unable to do anything except verbally protest the brutality, brutality, and massacres that the Zionist state of Israel, which was established by usurping Palestinian land, has subjected Palestinian Muslims in the besieged Gaza Strip for the past two and a half years. The result is that the Zionist state is now moving towards a complete military occupation of Gaza.

The latest situation is that the Israeli security cabinet yesterday approved a despicable plan by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, under which the Israeli army will take complete control of Gaza City.  In an interview with the American TV channel Fox News before the security cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said that we intend to gain control of all of Gaza in order to ensure our security by expelling Hamas from Gaza. He also made the ridiculous explanation that we do not want occupation of Gaza, but only military control.

According to a statement from Netanyahu's office, the security cabinet has set five principles for ending the war, including the complete disarmament of Hamas, the return of all hostages, the elimination of Gaza's military capability, Israeli security control over Gaza, and the establishment of an alternative civil administration that is neither affiliated with Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority. Due to how evil this plan is, former Israeli Prime Minister and current opposition leader Yair Lapid himself has strongly opposed it and has called it destructive for Israel.

According to him, this action will result in the death of hostages and soldiers participating in the war, the loss of tax money of the Israeli people and diplomatic disaster. On the other hand, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas has made it clear that the Israeli aggression will be responded to with full resistance. Several European countries have strongly condemned this act of aggression by the Zionist leadership in their immediate response. In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Australia, Germany, Italy, New Zealand and the United Kingdom rejected the Israeli decision to launch a further major military operation in Gaza and said that we are determined and united to implement the two-state solution. Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp called the Israeli plan completely wrong and said in his statement that the Dutch government has always made it clear that Gaza belongs to the Palestinians, while German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, while announcing the non-provision of military equipment to Israel, said that it is difficult to understand how the Israeli military operation can achieve legitimate objectives.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, representing the sentiments of 250 million Pakistanis, has termed the Israeli cabinet’s plan as a way to further worsen the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and destroy any possibility of peace in the region. Pointing out the root causes of the tragedy, the Prime Minister said in his statement that Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land is illegal and as long as this occupation continues, peace will remain a dream. He reiterated his support for an independent Palestinian state and the Palestinians’ right to self-determination and demanded that the international community intervene immediately to stop Israel’s unjustified aggression and ensure the safety of innocent civilians.

On the other hand, an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council has been called on the situation in Gaza. All members except the United States have supported it. This blind American support for Israel is very regrettable and completely contradicts President Trump’s claims of the world peace community.
