Pakistan is not only a security state, but it is not wrong to call it a state of secret agencies. There is an intelligence agency like ISI which is the strongest and most powerful agency in Pakistan in terms of resources and which is considered one of the biggest and best intelligence agencies in the world. Powerful and resourceful intelligence agency like IB (Intelligence Bureau) is also working here. Its cadres are not only spread from Karachi to Chitral, but its cadres are also working abroad. MI (Military Intelligence) is also working here under the shadow of the army. Similarly, Air Force and Navy have their own separate intelligence systems. In addition, each Corps Headquarters has a separate information gathering system called Corps Intelligence. In order to keep the provincial governments and the police informed, there are secret agencies in the center and the four provinces called Special Branches and thousands of people are associated with it. Similarly, separate intelligence agencies are working in every major organization. For example, Customs has a separate intelligence department. Similarly, ANF has a separate communication system.
Even now
there are thousands of patriotic and talented people in these organizations but
these secret organizations are not being allowed to do their real work. The
main function of these institutions is to monitor and report the enemies of the
country and criminals. Their job is to thwart the conspiracies of secret
agencies of enemy countries, but unfortunately they rarely get the opportunity
to perform this real duty within Pakistan. Here these institutions have been
involved in politics. Sometimes these institutions are engaged in forming
Muslim League (Q). Sometimes they are engrossed in creating patriots within the
People's Party. Sometimes they have to hold a referendum and make the person in
charge of the government successful in it, sometimes they are entrusted with
the responsibility of making certain parties successful and others fail in the
elections, and Masha Allah, these institutions of ours continue to perform
these duties well. are These institutions have played a key role in every
political movement within the country. These same institutions created
alliances like IJI. Muslim League (Q) was formed overnight with the
achievements of these institutions. With his blessings, newly formed parties
like Muslim League (Q) continued to succeed in elections. These institutions
made Imran Khan a leader and reached the chair of the Prime Minister with great
efforts, but on the other hand, these institutions could not find out who is
responsible for breaking Pakistan. Who is the killer of General Zia and other
generals on the plane with him? Who killed Benazir Bhutto and on whose
instructions was Murtaza Bhutto shot? How was Osama bin Laden living in
Abbottabad? etc. Or maybe these institutions have found out, but these
investigations are not being brought before the nation.
It is repeated that our intelligence agencies are not less than others in any
respect. Some of their people have also created eternal stories of sacrifices.
They also conduct amazing sting operations like the arrest of Kulbhushan Yadav,
but if they are unable to completely control the problem of terrorism, one of
the main reasons is that there is no proper coordination between these
intelligence agencies. Their information is not collected in one place nor is
it analyzed in one place but sometimes these agencies are in competition with
each other and also proper management of information of these agencies to the
police for action. no . The United States created the Homeland Security Agency
to collect information from intelligence agencies and pass it on to relevant
agencies for action, and there was no incident after 9/11. Necta was created
for this purpose in Pakistan, but intelligence agencies are not ready to accept
its supremacy. Therefore, either NECTA should be made powerful and resourceful
on the lines of Homeland Security, or an alternative arrangement should be made
to improve coordination between intelligence agencies and law enforcement
agencies so that the efforts of these agencies can adequately benefit the
nation.
