Aqsa Arshad : Awarded the Degree of Doctorate in Urdu Literature

Under the supervision of Dr. Sadaf Naqvi, Chairperson Urdu Department Government College Women University, Faisal Abad, a researcher Aqsa Arshad has been awarded the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy on the literary and scholarly works of Dr. Maqsood Jafri. She wrote her thesis on the poetry, philosophy and literary criticism of Dr. Maqsood Jafri whose 32 books in English, Persian and Urdu have been published. She especially focused on the message of humanity, peace, justice and freedom in the works of the author.

پروفیسر اقصیٰ ارشد نے اردو ادبیات میں ڈاکٹریٹ کی ڈگری حاصل کی۔ 

( سٹاف رپورٹر) : اردو ادبیات کی اسکالر اقصیٰ ارشد نے گورنمنٹ کالج خواتین یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد سے ڈاکٹر صدف نقوی کی زیرِ نگرانی عالمی شہرت یافتہ شاعر اور دانشور ڈاکٹر مقصود جعفری کی شاعری اور فلسفہ پر مقالہ لکھ کر پی ایچ ڈی کی ڈگری حاصل کی۔ انہوں نے ڈاکٹر مقصود جعفری کی انگریزی ، فارسی اور اردو میں شاعری، فلسفہ، اسلامی ادبیات، فکرِ پعلامہ اقبال اور عالمی ادبیات و فلسفہ پر شائع شدہ 32 کتابوں پر سیر حاصل مقالہ لکھا اور اُن کی تصانیف میں انسانیّت و وحدتِ انسانیّت ، احترامِ انسانیّت ، امنِ عالم، مساوات ، محّبت ، عدل و انصاف، اور آزادی کے موضوعات پر بھر پُور روشنی ڈالی۔ یہ مقالہ اردو ادب کے طلبا و طالبات، محقّقین، نقادوں، شاعروں ، دانشوروں کے لیے بہت علمی اور ادبی تحقیقی دستاویز ہے ۔
