During this year’s CES, Samsung received a lot of attention for its Bespoke refrigerator, a smart appliance of the next generation equipped with a 32-inch screen that opens up compatibility with apps and technologies with huge popularity like Tiktok, Google Photos, and Alexa from Amazon.
Previously, the annual consumer technology show that took place in January was
home to Samsung and their Bespoke Home range of appliances. The South
Korean-based company that uses its innovative technology to manufacture everything
from premium TVs and portable phones to speakers and home appliances needs to fulfill
a steadily ascending desire among customers for smart technologies within their
homes.
In their advertisements for Bespoke smart appliances,
Samsung’s marketing communicates a powerful notion of identity. Refrigerators
are no longer just a messy montage of physical photos and magnets, but the
company’s Bespoke 4-Door with Family Hub™ can display photos on a 32-inch
screen, as Samsung’s technology includes Google Photos integration. And like
most smart devices nowadays, it is shipped with the ability to join a local
Wi-Fi network.
Another indication that the next-generation refrigerator can stream short-form
videos is also present.
Try to picture yourself cooking a new dish with the guidance
of TikTok—your favorite food bloggers explaining which actions are essential to
whip up some cinnamon buns. And if for instance you are in the kitchen cooking
and realize there are some ingredients which are lacking, all you need is to
call for Alexa. Another feature that is available on Amazon is a virtual AI and
personal assistant that can be invoked through the refrigerator; her role is to
add the things that are missing to the grocery list, if any.
Samsung’s Bespoke technology also cuts across the physical
space as it does the digital, making it possible for clients to customize their
appliances. The number of French doors can be three or four based on the
client’s preferences during the choice of the design. Refrigerator inserts may
be in steel and glass with different shades to select like Navy Glass and
Tuscan Steel.
Here again, we find Bespoke as being on par in the beverages section. It has features such as the water pitcher auto, filler, and 9+. undefined of ice storage – of ice cubes in sizes bite and the normal ones, your family will never lack water to drink.
On its part, the Bespoke smart refrigerator has smart technology incorporated
within its framework as well. The fridge’s FlexZone™ means the owner of the
Bespoke can regulate the temperature of the sliding drawer depending on its
usage whether for beverages, meats and other perishable products.
“Bespoke is a success story for Samsung, and the roll-out of new Bespoke
refrigerators and built-in appliances will make consumer customization even
more possible in kitchens” shared Junhwa Lee, EVP, and the head of the customer
experience team of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics.
“The idea that we have is to allow the maximum flexibility for consumers to
create personal and efficient spaces in the kitchen,” as stated by a Samsung
official.
