National Fertilization Corporation, National Fertilizer Marketing and National IT Board will also be abolished. Undoubtedly, reduction in government expenditure is mandatory. There are many government institutions that are unnecessary which have no utility left for the country and the people or which can be handed over to the private sector to make them more useful because corruption is not possible in the private sector like government institutions and matters are decided on merit. Grow up. Fifty years ago, Pakistan's experiment of nationalization of all industries and businesses, including private banks, failed miserably and the region's most emerging economy suffered a severe decline. The era of policing is over and experience has proved that governments should limit their scope to ensuring justice and fairness in the society, maintaining peace and order, arranging for national defense and security of borders and currency and foreign affairs etc. Therefore, the closure or privatization of institutions in Pakistan is certainly a need of time, but the lives of the people who are troubled by inflation and unemployment should not be made more difficult by these measures.
Therefore, it is important that this process be done gradually. The methods of providing alternative employment to the employees of the departing institutions should be determined, guidance should be provided for small and medium businesses and provision of capital in the form of easy loans from banks. The most important of these is that the privileges given to the ruling classes, the high civil, military and judicial elites in the form of free electricity, gas, petrol and other benefits which are unimaginable even in the richest and most developed countries, have been stopped without delay. As a result of which the prices of essential commodities will be reduced. As far as utility stores are concerned, it would be better to take all possible effective measures to reduce inflation before the closure of this establishment. Apart from ending the privileges of elites, it is absolutely necessary to end the economy-sucking contracts made with IPPs. If electricity becomes cheaper, there will be a clear reduction in inflation. Illegal profiteering is also a major cause of inflation due to wheat and flourDespite the huge reduction in prices, there has been no reduction in the prices of bread, double bread, bakery items and biscuits etc. across the country. Closure of utility stores should be accompanied by this arrangement.
Sugar
Prices
Being an agricultural economy, it is also important to ensure that exports are increased while meeting the needs of the rapidly growing population. At present, the exports in the agricultural sector are mainly sugar and rice, while fruits include mango and cano. It is observed that as soon as the crushing season of sugarcane approaches, the price of sugar is increased by creating an artificial shortage in the country. Later, the export license is obtained on the basis of excess production. The trend of smuggling wheat and sugar from India has been going on for a long time. In the context of this whole situation, the price of sugar has increased from 45 rupees to 160 rupees per kg in just 6 years. In recent days, the export of sugar is being approved. On the other hand, there are echoes of a new increase in its prices. The Ministry of Finance claims that it has prepared a strategy to control the rising sugar prices. Sources say that the government will keep a thorough review of the factors behind the price increase while also ensuring price monitoring on a daily basis. On Friday, the Economic Coordination Committee approved the export of 100,000 metric tons of sugar in its meeting and set the condition of taking action against the sugar mills that do not give money to the sugarcane farmers. That the corrupt elements present in the relevant departments cause the failure of the government's efforts, by facilitating the sugar smuggling and hoarding mafia, there is an opportunity to play freely. Prices cannot be guaranteed to be under control.
Jahangir Khan:
National Identity
Sports in
which we never had a second like hockey and squash. Among them, since
independence till the 90s, Pakistan was touching the heights of the sky. Our
national heroes raised the national flag in all continents. Unfortunately,
today they are at the lowest level in history. Isn't this a big question mark
for the concerned authorities? . The world has not forgotten our legends even
today. Could not forget their achievements. The United Nations has included the
great player of Pakistan and the squash world, Jahangir Khan, in the list of
the best players of the millennium. This is a great honor not only for Jahangir
Khan, but for the country and nation. Jahangir Khan is listed in the Guinness
Book of World Records for winning 550 consecutive matches in his career. He
remained undefeated for five years. He won the world title six times and also
won the British Open championship ten times. Pakistan has won three Olympics
and four World Cups in hockey. I wish our greatness in these games would be
gradually restored, but "I wish it was destroyed". Due to vested
interests, greed for positions, unprofessional and political appointments,
nepotism, lack of conscience, incompetence and inattention in sports
institutions, our sports are in a state of disrepair. Arshad Nadeem has shown a
ray of light in this decadence and he was well received. Those who make the
name of the country and the nation should be recognized in the same way, but
the question is that why such famous players do not come forward today, the
answer needs to be found. Poor sportsmen should be specially encouraged. All
districts have allocated sports fund which if utilized properly can be used to
build good sports infrastructure.
