Meanwhile, in a convention organized in Shahr Quaid under the auspices of Karachi Bar Association, lawyers from across the country came on a platform against the proposed constitutional amendments and threatened to launch a nationwide movement to bring the amendment for the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also said in a press conference in Karachi that the constitutional amendment should be discussed after the completion of the term of the current Chief Justice. Regarding the proposals taken into consideration in the seven sessions of the special committee formed to deliberate on the proposals related to the 26th constitutional amendment, it is said that now the most focus is on creating a consensus on the establishment of the Constitutional Court because the PTI Except all major parties have submitted their proposals.
