In the discussion that took place on Tuesday between PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at Bilawal House Karachi, it was agreed to continue discussions with all parliamentary parties regarding the proposed 26th constitutional amendment. and after consensus the final draft will be presented in the National Assembly. 

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the draft agreed between PPP and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam has succeeded in removing all the things that weaken the parliament. He said that he will also take Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf into confidence in this matter and he is trying to get Muslim League (N) to join this agreement. Meanwhile, in a convention organized in Shahr Quaid under the auspices of Karachi Bar Association, lawyers from across the country came on a platform against the proposed constitutional amendments and threatened to launch a nationwide movement to bring the amendment for the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also said in a press conference in Karachi that the constitutional amendment should be discussed after the completion of the term of the current Chief Justice. Regarding the proposals taken into consideration in the seven sessions of the special committee formed to deliberate on the proposals related to the 26th constitutional amendment, it is said that now the most focus is on creating a consensus on the establishment of the Constitutional Court because the PTI Except all major parties have submitted their proposals. Another thing that has been discussed so far in the meeting and in various circles is the quality of appointment of judges in constitutional and other courts. 

Legislation should be made on these issues while this problem should not be ignored which is the result of not having adequate time for other cases due to the backlog of constitutional cases. The solution to this problem lies in the establishment of a separate court or the formation of a constitution bench will help in handling the cases in an efficient manner. We have to take decisions keeping in mind the results in other systems of the world and ensure that the litigants, whether seeking judicial guidance on constitutional issues or seeking judicial review on other issues, are not delayed in their decisions. should be 25 crore of people's representatives.
