Addressing a review meeting in this regard, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed that the loan amount under this program be increased from Rs 5 to Rs 1.5 million. He also directed to complete a detailed survey of the facilities provided to small and medium-sized businesses across the country soon.
In the meeting, the Statistics Department was informed about the indicators of SMEs in three major cities of the country and it was informed that a survey will be conducted in the next few months to plan for providing better facilities to SMEs across the country.
