Get All of the Info on How Chappell Roan Looked on Jimmy Fallon’s Blonde! Bird!

Last night, the world got to witness greatness as Chappell Roan performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the show that your favorite artist wants as their show. For the occasion, she arrived looking exceptionally fabulous at the curl arm.

Watch the interview Fallon did with Roan when he asked, “You’re dressed up when you’re performing,” and then showed her pictures of Roan at events such as Governor’s Ball wherein she arrived as Liberty State of Mind.

“Me and my stylist Genesis Webb draw reference from drag, horror movies, burlesque, theater—let’s look pretty and scary!” Roan remarks. As for the Tonight Show, the phrase of the day was the bird. Roan let slip that the film used as the reference for Barbie of Swan Lake of 2003 was the moodboard for the evening. To create the vision of her, her red beautiful curls by Dom Forletta were bleached to blonde (whether it was real hair or a wig, remains to be seen) and her eyebrows were penciled in, while the amazing makeup artist Andrew Dahling added feathers to emphasize her eyes. That is why during the show she wore two different outfits with feathers that symbolized the white Swan Queen Odette and black Swan Odile.

“Well, the blonde definitely adds the kind of mysterious, swan feel we were trying to achieve here,” Forletta said to us in an exclusive interview. “Yeah, totally a wig and lots of extensions because we wanted it to look like Chappell’s hair. ” For the curls he says, “This is ghd, Thin curling wand and figure of 8 using hairpins. ” To achieve hair that is higher than high, use R&Co, Balloon Dry Volume Spray.

During the interview, Roan chews gum and clicks her nails done by Juan Alvear, which taking into the account, can be compared to 6-inch claws. “If one gouges in closer, each nail resembles the shaft of a plucked feather,” Alvear says. “To get such a look, I used Essie’s Artic Jelly and Buttercup Jelly polishes and painted a gradient from fully opaque to fully shine-through, with striation details added to the middle section. On top of it, I incorporated long feathers from ostrich to give them some movement on stage during Chappell’s performance.

During her chat with Fallon, the singer revealed something about herself that just makes sense after reading our Coachella interview: For the second career option, if music did not prove to be suitable for her, she wished to attend school and become an esthetician. It would be nice to know the full routine, they hopefully will do Beauty Secrets again.
