ISLAMABAD (News Reporter) The Federal Cabinet has approved the proposals of the Cabinet Committee for Right Sizing established for institutional reforms headed by the Finance Minister. In the first phase, the recommendations of the committee will be implemented on six ministries. 82 government institutions will be merged and converted into 40 such institutions, which will ensure digitization, smart management, efficient governance, transparent and speedy implementation of projects and better provision of facilities to the common man, to protect the interests of affected employees.

The committee has been established, the cabinet has approved 20 billion rupees for the continuation of austerity campaign, operation determination, and 1 billion 95 crore rupees for FC Balochistan. Earlier, these suggestions and recommendations were presented in the meeting by the Finance Minister. The cabinet was informed that in order to improve the efficiency of the federal government, proper utilization of manpower, eliminate unnecessary deadlock in policy making and implementation of decisions, and to further strengthen only the most essential departments, the committee on 6 ministries has been formed in the first phase. The implementation of the recommendations has been started, the federal cabinet was given a detailed briefing on the progress and implementation of measures on the ongoing austerity campaign under the vision and instructions of the prime minister to reduce the government expenses, the federal cabinet has approved the implementation of the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in the previous regime.

The Federal Cabinet approved the recommendations of the Ministry of Housing and Works. The Prime Minister welcomed the decisions taken by the Minister of Finance, Minister of National Food Security, Minister of Energy and related ministers and officers for uninterrupted supply of urea fertilizer for the upcoming Rabi crop.
